A sensory-friendly environment for our patients

The challenges around sound transmission are discussed within the residential units. However, the solution is not transferable, where there is a mixed presence within the day care units. The new building is going to make a difference, but the patients who produce these sounds often have a tremendous urge to move, making the sound uncontrollable within a fixed space. This is the biggest challenge in finding a solution.
